Try this worm you say, you average 4 to 5 pounders, you say. Well ok, I will try this white pearl speed worm, which has only ever worked for me on one lake. Everything about this story seems suspect, but I give any lure at least a hundred cast before I switch. I cast and I cast, but where are these 4 to 5 pounder? I cast some more, but where are the pound to 2 pound schoolies I had been catching? Let me take a break and try to photograph some swallows.
It's not easy; they are even faster than the bats. But it's fun and not as hard as catching a five pound bass on a white speed worm. I digress.
Pretty flower. It reminds me of aquatic iris.
Like I said I gave it a good go, but the white pearl isn't producing and so 100, splash! You have got to be kidding me.
Maybe my friend left out that he only fishes at night or maybe its a time of the year thing, but now I'm confused. I may try it again.
Forty years old and still in awe of the outdoors.
